Turnout for spring edition hits 5,500

It’s been a jam-packed first day. The spring edition of the Malta A.I. and Blockchain Summit opened its doors today to a staggering 5,500 delegates, surpassing all expectations. A number of excellent workshops and conferences were lined-up throughout the day, starting conversations that reverberated across the expo floor throughout the day.

Highlights included the likes of Ben Goertzel on the changing job market, Larry Sanger on the importance of owning your data, Bobby Lee on the power of the Bitcoin and Roger Ver on economic freedom.

We’ll be bringing you more of everything tomorrow, so expect an expo floor buzzing with energy and plenty of business opportunities in the making.

We’re also pleased to congratulate the winning start-up project. Following a gripping pitch, Pynk.io, the world’s first People-Powered Investment platform, took the crown at the AI Start-up Pitch.

The A.I. & Blockchain Awards rounded off a perfect evening, congratulations to Solarcoin, Navigato, Europechain, Artsquare, bitcoin.com, Holochain, G8C and crypto briefing. A number of donated artworks also raised a significant amount of money for several worthy charities when they were auctioned off at the end of the evening, with bidders including Brock Pierce.
