100 Women in Hedge Funds set to launch new Global Hub in Malta

100 Women in Hedge Funds (100WHF) is a global, practitioner-driven non-profit organization serving over 15,000 alternative investment managers, investors and financial professionals through educational, peer engagement and philanthropic initiatives. Formed in 2001, 100WHF has hosted over 600 industry education events globally, connected more than 400 senior women through Peer Advisory Groups and raised over $40 million for philanthropic causes in the areas of women’s and family health, education and mentoring.

This Tuesday 1st November, 100WHF is organising an event to mark the official launch of its newest location in Valletta, Malta. The launch event, that will take place at the Malta Chamber of Commerce, will be the first in a series of events aimed at bringing together women, who are actively involved in the alternatives or broader financial industry in Malta, to come together, learn from each other and make the most out of peer to peer opportunities.

The event will be hosted by Patrick J O Brien, Exante’s Communication Director/Journalist and will be attended by The President Of Malta,  Amanda Pullinger CEO WHF, Gatis Eglitis, Co Founder Exante and Kenneth Farrugia, Chairperson Finance Malta.
