It is to be constructed in two phases, contingent on licenses, and will ultimately feature over 4,000 Sqm’s of interior space. The building itself is made of glass, a reflection of the open and transparent company we are. It is designed in the shape of a boat, and is located beachfront in the urban bay. We will always keep moving forward.
We are a Technology Company and the building is featuring plenty of it. Each glass slate is triple glazed and quality assured. The water borne climate system is three piped allowing each individual AC unit to have a unique setting. This allows us to promote energy conservation and a fantastic indoor climate. Both these features are first of its kind in Malta.
Over 500 SQM’s of terrace space will be used for green areas, simple sports, outdoor meetings and workstations, as well as recreational activities such as yoga and parties. Ideas to interior facilities are still work in progress but are intended to include: Catering for staff, library, more green areas, playroom for children, coffee and ice cream bar. No one likes elevators. Therefore a slide will allow gravity to move people in a fun and effective manner to the ground floor. There will be a wealth of collaboration areas and loads of open office space that will promote a social workspace and free flow of information.
I am incredibly proud of all the people that have made this happen over the years. Big credit to the developer: Exalco, for having the vision and guts to bring this unique building to the isle, and to CVC architects for taking on the challenge to design such an ambitious project. We will move in Q2 next year and have a lot of fun work ahead of us meanwhile. Thank you all.”
