Sierra Hughes has been with GLI since 2004, being responsible for a big part of the firm’s strategic business development across the Caribbean and the more popular gaming landscape of Latam.
Prior to her working with GLI, Sierra-Hughes worked in the law sector in the Republic of Panama, to then be appointed as the Legal Director of the Panama Gaming Control Board. Around the world, she has taken part in a vast number of gaming conferences, being a sought-after speaker and professional of the industry.
Sierra-Hughes received the Latin American Gaming Hall of Fame Recognition Award at the recent 2019 Juegos Miami Gaming conference, and has been listed in the 2019 iGaming Business Magazine in the top 10 most Influential Women List.
SiGMA Group has announced the postponement of its Europe summit, which was planned to be held in Malta on 17-19 November 2020. The show will now open its doors early next year in February, running from the 16-18th, making it the first event to headline the 2021 gaming calendar.
